Beauty is all about personality, confidence, intelligence and trust in self. What happens when art is added to this mixture? Miss HYPE APK res seeks to find just that. A beauty battle between the winners of the UJ APK Residences individual beauty pageants (Moshate heights, Mongolia,Karibu Jamii, Impumelelo, and Leboni) all under the housing of UJ arts theatre. prior to the main event day, these ladies will be put through community engagement activities, exercise boot camps, and confidence workshops all in the pursuit of creating the most elegant, artsie and well-rounded personality. This pageant is all about spirit, passion, res rivalry and most importantly who will be the New Miss HYPE APK res.
Every female residence on the UJ APK campus has its own Miss “……” beauty pageant that they run as part of their spirit week, from these pageants they crown their “miss “….”. Within all of this, never has it occurred that there was an overall crowning of ‘Miss APK Res’ specifically for the res beauty pageants, as a means to inspire res culture, competition, and interrelation.
The purpose of this event is to centralize the individual residences beauty pageants and crown an overall “Miss APK res” winner.
