UJ Arts & Culture, a division of the Faculty of Art, Design and Architecture (FADA) at the University of Johannesburg, is excited to announce a series of temporary opportunities for 2026. These positions form an important part of our commitment to delivering dynamic arts programming, driving innovation in the creative industries, and fostering meaningful engagement within the University and across broader communities.
Successful candidates will gain first-hand experience in a leading university arts environment, contributing to festivals, exhibitions, performances, and community engagement initiatives. These opportunities are ideal for individuals who are passionate about the arts, eager to learn, and motivated to make an impact.
Appointments will run for either 11 months (5 January – 30 November 2026) or 10 months (1 February – 30 November 2026), depending on the role.
