Auditions for the UJ Arts Academy and UJ productions take place at the same time. Students may be selected for either a production, or acting classes – not both. Classes and rehearsals are presented weekly.
Stand-up Comedy classes are run as a Comedy boot camp. The camp is facilitated by professional comedians with many years of industry experience. The camp is structured in such a way that allows one to express their creativity, share their works in the group and improve their performance and writing. Comedians will perform in a showcase at the end of the year where they will give us a taste of what they’ve learned through-out the year.
For your audition: Prepare your best 2 minute skit. Come with your funny bone and an open mind.
